We are Ian and Sally Burgin and we would like to welcome you to our home, Las Cafourques. We have lived here full time since 2007 and previously used it as a holiday home with our five children. We are animal lovers, having one dog, four cats, about ten chickens, a pond full of fish and six beehives. Ian looks after the vegetable garden and Sally does the flowers. This keeps us busy as we also have a small horticultural enterprise alongside our bed and breakfast business.

 

 

Our claim to fame is appearing on the TV series Emmerdale a couple of years ago. The TV company were filming in one of our local towns, Eymet, and we were ‘extras’. Also, Sally appeared in the TV series Little England which highlighted her beekeeping skills. Subsequently, she appeared on Harry Hill’s TV Burp where he made fun of one of her comments about the bees. This did, however, get her much kudos from the grandchildren!
